SC Cleared Data Cabling Engineers Reading Ongoing Project Opportunities Morris Sinclair is recruiting experienced SC Cleared Data Cabling Engineers to support an initial infrastructure project based in Reading . This is an excellent opportunity to work with a client that delivers structured cabling and network infrastructure projects across the UK, Europe and Malaysia . While the first assignment is based in Reading, engineers who perform well may be offered opportunities to work on future deployments both nationally and internationally. The Role You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality structured cabling installations across commercial and secure environments, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to industry standards. The initial project requires active SC Clearance due to the nature of the site. Essential Requirements Current Active SC Clearance Own vehicle suitable for transporting tools and equipment Own professional data cabling toolkit Full UK Driving Licence Ability to travel as projects require Right to work in the UK Technical Experience We're looking for engineers with strong experience in: Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a installations Structured cabling standards (BS EN 50173 / ISO IEC 11801) Cable management systems and containment Testing and certification using Fluke or equivalent equipment Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation specifications Diagnosing and resolving installation issues Delivering high-quality installations within project timescales Health & Safety CSCS Card or equivalent preferred Comfortable working at height, including ladders, ceiling voids and raised floors Physically able to lift equipment and work within confined spaces Strong commitment to health and safety procedures What We're Looking For You'll be a reliable, professional engineer who takes pride in producing high-quality work and representing both Morris Sinclair and our client on customer sites. PIM Data Steward Global Consumer Products Organisation Fully Remote (UK) 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Potential Extension) Morris Sinclair is partnering with a global consumer products organisation to recruit an experienced PIM Data Steward to support the ongoing management, governance and optimisation of product information across international markets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Product Information Management (PIM) experience who enjoys improving data quality, supporting product launches and working with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, consistent product information is available across multiple digital channels. The Role As a PIM Data Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality product data throughout its lifecycle, ensuring product information is accurate, complete and ready for syndication across multiple sales and digital platforms. Working closely with commercial, product, marketing and technical teams, you will help support ongoing PIM implementation activities, data governance initiatives and continuous process improvements. Key Responsibilities Maintain and enrich product information within the organisation's Product Information Management (PIM) platform. Ensure product data is accurate, complete and compliant with internal data governance standards. Support product launches by coordinating the creation, validation and maintenance of product records. Work with stakeholders across multiple business functions to gather, validate and update product information. Prepare and manage product data for syndication across digital, retail and eCommerce channels. Support ongoing PIM implementation activities, including data migration, cleansing and validation. Identify data quality issues and work proactively to resolve discrepancies. Produce reports on data quality, completeness and outstanding actions. Assist in developing and improving product data processes, documentation and best practice. Provide support and guidance to internal users on product information and PIM processes. Skills & Experience Previous experience in a Product Information Management (PIM) , Product Data or Master Data role. Hands-on experience working with inRiver PIM . Experience supporting or participating in PIM implementation projects . Experience managing product data syndication across multiple digital or retail channels. Strong understanding of product data governance and data quality principles. Experience working with large product catalogues and structured datasets. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and manipulation. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately with high volumes of data. Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within a fast-paced environment. Experience with ERP systems or other enterprise data platforms would be advantageous. Previous experience within consumer products, retail, manufacturing or FMCG environments would be beneficial.
