Fire & Security Engineer Manager Up to £45,000 DOE We re recruiting for an excellent Supervisor / Manager role within Fire & Security, which requires someone to manage and lead an engineering team who install and service Security Alarms, CCTV and Fire systems too. Someone with related managerial or leadership experience within the industry would be highly desired, although we may also be able to consider very experienced security engineers who are now looking to take the next step in their career. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with related experience to join a progressive and highly regarded company who do work on both commercial and domestic properties primarily in Central Scotland. You will need to have exceptional communication and people skills as you will be involved in the training and management of engineers and will be supervising and supporting colleagues at all levels. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day engineering jobs as well as helping with the overall day to day running of the business The role will also involve site surveys and project managing jobs from initial design through to handover and commissioning. You must be: • Ambitious with a real passion to progress, and you'll be expected to deliver a high level of accurate and quality work with exceptional attention to detail. • Experienced across multiple fire & security products and disciplines • Good and competent with electrical wiring and should also have an understanding of electronic. • Excellent knowledge of Security Systems. • Able to adapt engineering solutions to installation issues / complex service calls. • Able to lead and motivate the team. • Familiar with Health & Safety legislations • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic, and have a can-do attitude to get jobs completed to a high standard All applicants must have a full UK driving license and a company vehicle is also provided, and applicants will be subject security vetting to be able to work in this position.

Telecoms or Security Engineer Up to 42,000 DOE + vehicle We are looking for an experienced Security or Telecoms Engineer for a fast-growing and ambitious company in a role that entails the installation, servicing and maintenance of their Telecoms and Security CCTV & Alarm solutions. Electricians who are looking to pivot into something different could also be considered, but applicants will ideally already have some experience in Telecoms or Security areas and the company will train you in the other discipline for you to become more multi-disciplined. Working out of their HO base in Lanarkshire so applicants should ideally reside within a reasonable distance, this role will cover primarily Central Scotland but also further afield as well when required. Applicant will ideally have product related experience in installing, programming and training customers on how to operate their Security systems (CCTV and Alarms) or Telecoms systems (telephone systems, lines, connectivity, photocopiers). Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 4 years suitable experience and also be interested in a role where they would get the opportunity to learn about the installation and maintenance of other technology products that they might not already have experience in. Working out of the company base in Edinburgh so applicants should ideally reside within the area, this role will cover mainly the East of Scotland but also a bit further afield as well when required. Applicants will ideally have at least 4 years experience of various Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarm systems, and in installing, programming and showing customers how to operate their systems.
