You'll know when to follow an established pattern and when to challenge it. Location note: This role may require presence at a DWP office in Newcastle for approximately 1-2 days per week. You'll map end-to-end service journeys, identify failure points, and work across organisational boundaries to design services that work for the people who use them, not just the people who commission them. You'll be as comfortable in a workshop with policy teams as you are in a design critique. You'll work closely with product, design and data teams, influence technical decisions and help shape engineering best practices across the platform.
