This is a pivotal role within Group IT, supporting the People function, shaping strategy, improving system capability and leading a team of experts who keep our HR technology running smoothly, securely and effectively. About the Role You'll be responsible for the day to day management, development and governance of our SAP SuccessFactors landscape, alongside our wider suite of People Systems. Leading a team of specialists, you'll ensure systems are stable, compliant, well configured and continuously improved to meet the needs of a growing, dynamic organisation. Working closely with the SAP team, People leaders, technical partners and third party suppliers, you'll oversee half yearly release cycles, maintain data integrity, manage integrations, enhance processes and support operational excellence across all modules - including EC, Recruiting, Onboarding, LMS, Time Off, Compensation, Talent and more. This is a highly visible, senior role with significant influence across People, IT and Operations. What you'll do Lead, coach and develop a team of People Systems specialists. Oversee the administration, configuration, development and optimisation of SAP SuccessFactors and other People Systems. Act as the primary escalation point for system issues, ensuring SLAs are exceeded and system availability remains strong. Manage end to end release cycles, liaising with partners, creating project teams and engaging Senior Process Owners to deploy the right features from each half yearly release. Ensure robust governance: system audits, data integrity, change control, documentation, backups and disaster recovery. Maintain employee data in line with GDPR and data protection requirements, ensuring security protocols are followed. Produce reports, dashboards and analytics to support People decision making. Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Delivery and Business Owners to identify opportunities for enhancement, automation and optimisation. Lead the creation and delivery of training and "train the trainer" sessions. Build strong relationships with the People Team, Group IT, Data, Retail, Vets and external partners. Manage licence agreements exceeding £1m and oversee third party support performance. About You You'll be a confident, credible leader with deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors and HR systems, able to engage at all levels and drive strategic improvements while ensuring operational excellence. You'll bring At least 5 years' SuccessFactors experience and strong HR systems knowledge. 3+ years' managerial experience, able to lead high performing teams. Strong understanding of People processes, data integrity and system capability. Experience managing large licence agreements (£1m+). Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non technical audiences. Experience of system development, testing, requirements gathering and reporting. Strong problem solving ability and a continuous improvement mindset. CIPD and/or SuccessFactors module certifications (desirable but not essential). Experience of system implementations or migrations. Ability to work at pace, manage conflicting priorities and maintain exceptional attention to detail. Understanding of security concepts (roles, user management, privileges). Experience in retail, or another complex, multi site environment (advantageous). Pets at Home is seeking a Space & Range Analyst for a 12 months fixed-term contract in Handforth, with hybrid work (2 days in the office). The role focuses on space optimisation, range analysis and driving store performance by turning data into actionable recommendations. You will work with buying, supply, merchandising and space planning teams, building tools and dashboards, analysing large datasets and presenting insights to stakeholders.

Data Governance Lead IT Support Office / Hybrid (1-2 days a week in Handforth) Permanent, full-time, 39 hours per week As we continue to invest in our data capabilities, we're looking for a Data Governance Lead to help us build a trusted, well-governed data environment that supports better decisions, drives innovation and enables the responsible use of emerging technologies, including AI. About the role This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of and shape data governance across Pets at Home. You'll be a collaborative and influential governance professional who can translate complex concepts into practical business outcomes. Reporting to the Head of IT Internal Controls, you'll lead the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide data governance framework, ensuring data is clearly owned, effectively managed and trusted across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders across Retail, Veterinary, Digital and Support Office teams, you'll help establish the governance foundations that allow data to become a strategic asset, enabling business growth, improving decision-making and supporting innovation. What you'll be doing Leading data governance across the business Develop, implement and continuously improve our data governance framework, policies and standards. Establish clear data ownership, accountability and decision-making structures. Facilitate governance forums and provide reporting on governance maturity, risks and progress. Shape and deliver the long-term data governance roadmap. Driving data quality and stewardship Partner with Data Domain Owners and Data Stewards to embed accountability across key data domains. Define data quality standards, metrics and improvement plans. Build and support a strong network of Data Stewards across the business. Improve the consistency, accuracy and reliability of critical data assets. Strengthening risk, compliance and assurance Support regulatory compliance and audit readiness through effective governance controls. Collaborate closely with Internal Controls, Information Security, Legal and Privacy teams. Identify, monitor and manage governance risks and policy exceptions. Help ensure compliance with UK GDPR and relevant regulatory requirements. Building data governance capability Create engaging guidance, training materials and communications. Champion data literacy and stewardship throughout the organisation. Foster collaboration between business and technology teams. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders at all levels. Enabling better data and AI outcomes Support the development of data catalogues, metadata management and data lineage capabilities. Partner with architecture and platform teams to improve transparency and control across data environments. Help establish the foundations for scalable analytics, automation and responsible AI adoption. You'll bring -Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance frameworks in line with DAMA, DCAM or equivalent frameworks. -Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management and stewardship practices. -Experience leading cross-functional governance initiatives and driving organisational change. -Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively. -A solid understanding of data protection and regulatory requirements, including UK GDPR -A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach. It would be great if you also had Professional certifications such as CDMP, DCAM, CIPP/E or similar. Experience within retail, consumer services or other customer-focused sectors.
