My client, a leading FinTech is looking for a Front End Developer for an immediate start. You will be able to take the technical lead on major projects and their deliveries and use clear and frequent communication outwards to the wider team on project progress and potential blockers. In addition, you will recognise when projects could benefit from bringing everyone together to get back on the same page; including across teammates in non engineering functions and identify and take the initiative to implement process improvements within engineering. Requirements: 5+ years prior experience in the role of Software Engineer Can effectively plan and reason about your software, understanding where it fits Be able to collaborate with business colleagues and other engineers Can think about how data will pass through your software; from API request to on-screen components and interactions Strong experience with React and modern ES6 to build web applications (we're starting the move to TypeScript) Good understanding of the fundamental Front End languages that underpin modern frameworks; HTML, CSS, Javascript and their interactions with the DOM Code Quality: Through writing testable, maintainable code (we use Jest + Cypress), and by engaging in code review for your own work and for reviewing others Stack: ReactJS + Redux Saga/Thunk Webpack Jest + Cypress Please call me if interested in this exceptional opportunity.
