CNC Operator, Setter, Programmer My client is a very well established family business who are investing in new CNC machines over the coming months. Based around the Luton area, they are seeking an experience CNC Operator, Setter, Programmer to join their team. This is a metal cutting environment. Their teams have been with them for many years and this role is replacing a person who is retiring. You must have at least 5 years experience on the shop floor Operating, Setting and ideally programming CNC machines which can be fixed head or sliding head. Essential criteria include:- Clear and concise English Language skills At least 5 years experience on the shop floor essential CNC setting and operating ideally programming either using CAM software or G Code programming Able to read mechanical drawings They do offer overtime on occasions. This is a well established family business and they are looking for the right person to join. Working Monday to Friday.Salary aae, Close at Christmas/New Year. Showing successful delivery and handover of Contracts/Projects. Experience of export contracts including Letters of Credit and negotiation of commercial terms would be an advantage. Ensure accurate information is assembled to enable the procurement and manufacture of equipment Provide on-going project planning/status reporting for use by the business, customers and management to make key decisions and communicate progress and risks. To ensure contract compliance with the companies standard commercial terms and conditions and negotiate acceptable variations where required. Control Invoicing / export and commercial documentation. Provide timely, accurate and reliable quotations to customers in association with the Company's Field Sales Engineers and Sales Management and advise Field Sales Engineers of potential business arising from enquiries. On an occasional basis Travel to sites within the UK We are looking for an Engineering professional with a proven track record who will drive Projects within the business. Ideal experience would be from within the electromechanical contracting services with specific reference to steam or high temperature process heating applications.
