In this role, you ll spend three days a week onsite at a client s Manchester office (a leading sportswear brand) and two days working remotely as part of their support team. The Role When on-site with their client you will be the first point of contact for IT queries. Supporting desktops (primarily MacOS), laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals (printers, headsets, monitors, etc.). Troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Managing user accounts, permissions, and password resets. Helping staff get the most from their meeting rooms making sure Teams/Zoom equipment is ready, set up, and running smoothly. Assisting with basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, routers). Using Intune and Apple Business Manager to manage and deploy devices. Procuring IT equipment and maintaining the asset inventory. Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding. Escalating complex issues to the helpdesk team or other vendors. Logging and managing support tickets to ensure SLAs are met. When working remotely, you ll be part of our client's helpdesk team, handling first-line support calls, resolving common issues, and escalating where needed. What they are looking for Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows. Experience with iPhone and Android mobile phones / tablets. Confident supporting hardware and peripherals (including printers). Good understanding of networking basics. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Nice to have Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 admin. Familiarity with Intune and Apple Business Manager. IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL). Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools. Knowledge of IT asset management processes. Experience supporting AV/meeting room tech (Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms).
