The role As an Enterprise BDM, you will lead the engagement with enterprise level clients across a defined territory/ sector, driving new business and expanding existing relationships. You'll act as a strategic advisor, consulting with senior decision makers, identifying client challenges, and aligning Global Data's suite of intelligence solutions to their business objectives. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of enterprise sales cycles, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to manage multi stakeholder relationships across complex organizations. This position requires commercial acumen and a collaborative mindset, working effectively across a matrixed organization to deliver tailored, high impact solutions to clients. You'll be solution selling using value based selling approaches. What you'll be doing Develop and execute a territory or vertical strategy that aligns with Global Data's broader commercial objectives. Own the end to end enterprise sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and close, ensuring consistent overachievement of revenue targets. Build and expand executive level relationships with key accounts, positioning GlobalData as a trusted strategic partner. Use social selling techniques to identify, connect with, and nurture prospective clients, positioning yourself as a thought leader in the market. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams, to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Lead solution based selling engagements, demonstrating GlobalData's data, and intelligence capabilities through high impact presentations and proposals. Identify opportunities across GlobalData's portfolio to maximize client value and revenue potential. Maintain deep understanding of client industries, emerging market trends, and competitor offerings to drive consultative dialogue and thought leadership. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and pipeline reports to senior management. Represent GlobalData at industry events, conferences, and executive forums to promote the brand and network with potential partners. What we're looking for Extensive experience in enterprise B2B sales, ideally within data, analytics, SaaS, or information services sectors. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within complex, consultative selling environments. Experience working cross functionally and across global matrix structures to deliver client solutions. Strong grasp of social selling techniques, digital prospecting, and relationship nurturing through platforms such as LinkedIn. Exceptional ability to engage, influence, and negotiate with C level executives and senior decision makers. Strong strategic thinking and problem solving abilities, with the ability to tailor solutions to client challenges. Demonstrated success managing long sales cycles and multi stakeholder engagements. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, proactive, and results driven, with a passion for building lasting client partnerships. Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and advanced proficiency with business tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, Gong). Willingness to travel regionally or internationally (up to 50%) as required.
