Job Title: Data and Compliance Lead (Apprenticeships / WBL) Location: Hybrid - Remote and Office base work Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (Dependent upon experience) Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension and more! Type: Full Time, Permanent Duties: Vital role in ensuring accuracy and quality of data management is maintained and regulatory standards are met throughout the business (accuracy of learner data, submission of funding claims, resolving any data errors and timely submissions such as ILR's). Support the Data and Compliance team, and ensure activity is managed effectively. Oversee Learner enrolment/onboarding processes, ensuring accurate assessment of learner eligibility during enrolment and onboarding stages, and the correct funding is agreed. Lead and oversee ILR funding submissions, making sure that funding returns are accurate, timely and meeting ESFA rules. Support with the review and development of vigorous processes across our clients Data and Compliance departments, ensuring learner data is maintained up to date. Assist with internal audits and work with the wider team to evaluate and identify any risks in order to prepare for funding audits Distribute audit and compliance reports to senior management team and create accurate reports for apprenticeship delivery to enable performance and planning monitoring. Provide guidance to relevant departments on funding and compliance as required. Essential Criteria: Proven experience in a similar Data and Compliance role within the work-based learning sector. Ideally hold a Level 5 Management qualification. Good understanding and knowledge of funding rules and audit partners (Dfe, Ofsted etc) Strong skills and experience of using MI and reporting systems Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and presentation skills Experience of using reports and working with complex data.
