We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a dynamic team working on an exciting multi-tenancy web application supporting the machinery side of our business. This application is built using the Microsoft C# .NET tech stack and includes a Blazor Server , Blazor WASM app, and an API . The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality code, performing code reviews, and mentoring associate developers. Key Responsibilities: Write, test, and maintain high-quality code within a Blazor Server , Blazor WASM , and API-based architecture. Create and maintain Azure Pipelines Progressive Web Application (PWA) implementation Conduct code reviews, ensuring best practices and code quality across the project Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify requirements, offer technical insights, and ensure the project s goals are met Provide guidance and mentorship to associate developers, assisting with problem-solving and career development Work alongside a team of developers in an Agile environment to deliver project milestones on time Assist in defining project requirements and technical specifications in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders Designing and optimizing SQL Server databases, ensuring scalability, security, and performance Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner Stay updated with the latest technologies to propose and implement innovative solutions Essential Criteria: Programming Languages & Frameworks HND or higher qualification in Computer Science or equivalent experience Demenstrable experience in C# .NET software development, with proven expertise in web application development Strong experience with multi-tenancy architectures and Blazor (both Server and WASM) In-depth knowledge of Azure and experience with Azure Pipelines and authentication Solid experience with SQL Server; ability to write and optimize complex queries and design relational databases Experience in Progressive Web Apps (PWA) Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders, clarify requirements, and provide progress updates A collaborative team player with experience mentoring associate developers and contributing to a positive team culture Ability to develop a working software solution from concept to finished product Desirable Criteria: Terraform Azure AD B2C Experience automating testing Insight.Database (.NET Micro ORM) Refit (ReactiveUI) Agile project management with Azure DevOps Further Information TÜV SÜD in the UK offers a competitive salary and benefits package that includes a minimum of 33 days holiday entitlement (for full-time employees, including public holidays), a contributory Group Personal Pension Plan and a non-contributory Group Life Assurance Scheme. We are currently recruiting for two Test Engineers to join our rapidly growing technical team based in East Kilbride. You will be responsible for carrying out research and commercial testing work in our world-leading flow testing facilities, for both government and industry customers. The successful candidate fort his role will be required to be based onsite at our Fareham office, however there is flexibility on remote working. As a Senior Innovations engineer you will be developing software-based solutions to business problems in a small team of full-stack software engineers. These solutions will be aimed at ensuring TUV SUD is well placed to deliver future services in a timely, efficient and competitive manner. You will be developing tools that will be used internally to support the business as we push to digitize and automate our internal processes. As part of the Innovations Team, you will liaise with various parts of the business to provide new and innovative software solutions for internal company usage. You will be expected to input on software requirements, software implementation and propose effective solutions. You will also be expected to support and guide software engineers with less experience than yourself. Where the vacancy is filled from within TUV SUD, a handover period will be required to allow for training and delegation of current responsibilities. Duties and Responsibilities Writing C#/.NET software to automate manual processes and help improve efficiencies across the business. Functioning as a full-stack developer, working within a small team that is delivering both front-end and back-end software. Contributing to the design of Innovations projects. Participating in and contributing to Innovations practices such as Agile ceremonies and trainings. Assist with the triaging and prioritisation of support requests based upon operational need and development complexity. Automation of data collection, analysis and reporting using databases (SQL). Upgrading and improvement of legacy tools. Code sharing within the Innovations Team to speed up development process. Training for Service Line employees in areas where new software tools have been deployed by the Innovations team. Produce and prove solutions in concept with working prototypes. Provide regular updates on project progress. Track project progress using DevOps. Essential Criteria : HND (or higher) or equivalent in Engineering or equivalent experience. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a professional software engineering environment. Demonstrated expertise in C# and the .NET framework, with a strong ability to design, develop, and maintain complex applications. Experience with HTML and CSS. Experience with SQL, preferably T-SQL. Significant experience with both front- and back-end development. Experience with a web development framework, preferably Blazor. Ability to develop a working software solution in a team environment from concept to finished product. Team player , maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, good communication skills at all levels. Able to guide a small team through the process of developing software including planning and problem solving. Self-motivated with a desire to learn new skills and make a business impact.
