2nd Line Network Engineer Peterborough £28,000 - £35,000 Permanent (Monday - Friday / 40hrs-PW) Are you a 1st or 2nd line network engineer looking for your next challenge? Do you have experience to working with Cisco products and applications? Will you be able to provide a high level of customer service whilst providing solutions to tight deadlines? Then this 2nd Network engineer role may be for you! My client - who are the current leader in providing top quality IT Support services globally - is looking for a 2nd line engineer that specialises in Cisco networking based in Peterborough. The role will respond to incidents logged on the Incident Management system and provide end users with a technical solution within Service Level Agreements. Key Duties To respond to incidents logged on the ticketing system and provide end users with technical solutions whilst working towards set SLA's. Provide technical assistance to on-going projects when required. Provide a point of technical escalation and expertise for 1st line engineers. This role will require successful candidates to obtain SC Clearance or be willing to undergo the process for clearance. Essential * At least 2 years' experience in a similar SLA driven role. * CCNA Level or Certified. * To be able to work to tight deadlines and manage priorities * Experience of working to ITIL, Ideally hold a foundation certificate. * Excellent communication skills both oral and written. * Must be able to work in a team or on your own. Network Administrator - Portsmouth My client is looking for a Network Administrator to join their team based in the Portsmouth area. The role will involve technical support of EUC, storage area networks, cloud and virtualisation technologies with a core focus on Cisco networking products and security technologies.
