The skillset also requires providing specific support in the area of Enterprise Backup, AWS support and Enterprise and Exchange Vault for several customers and is also involved closely in planning for upgrades or extensions to their backup environments. Key Accountabilities • Technical Capability. Recognizes opportunities to improve performance against Service Level. Acts as a point of escalation for other team members to resolve service delivery issues. Monitors performance through statistical reporting and analysis. • Project Work. Works within the team or under guidance from the project manager with implementation of technical designs to meet service delivery requirements within own area of responsibility. • Customer Relationship. Establishes working relationships with customer’s organization to deliver and enhance the service. • Problem Solving. Takes ownership in obtaining the information, evidence and data required to diagnose and resolve more complex problems (new and known), Escalates or gains support where appropriate. 2nd Line Software Distribution Technician – SC Cleared Bracknell A 2nd line Software Distribution Technician is required to provide technical support for the Software Delivery (Radia) solution – this will be as part of a larger team. Responsibilities: * Operate the HP Radia Distribution process * Manage software downloads to UADs and Servers * Be involved in planning and co-ordinating major application rollouts and baselines * Investigate reported failures for delivery in liaison with 3rd line technical support ensuring disruption is kept to a minimum * Provide support to data centres and tier3 servers in Live environment * Distribute and maintain Anti-Virus solution to all devices (servers and uads) at the technical infrastructure boundaries and gateway * Release management to understand future product releases. Network Architect Basingstoke Permanent Our client a global Defence IT Outsourcing company are undergoing an exciting phase of growth driven by some significant business wins. With that said they are looking for various Network Architects, at varying levels of technical ability and experience, to join their existing dynamic Networks Capability. They will work closely with the Solution Owners to produce design documentation on a wide variety of network solutions which vary in size and complexity. Senior DevOps Engineer – SC Cleared Basingstoke My client a global IT outsourcing company require an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to work within a new DevOps function. Responsible for developing a set of consistent and repeatable DevOps processes and tooling ensuring availability, automation in an agile CI/CD delivery both on premise and in the cloud. Mandatory Skills Required: * A demonstrable understanding of the full Software Delivery Lifecycle * Has demonstrable experience delivering high availability auto scaling containerised deployments in AWS or Azure * Has experience working closely with IT Operations, IT Development and IT Service teams to promote DevOps culture. * In depth understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, software configuration management, version control and release management. Network Design Engineer - Cisco / Juniper- SC - Basingstoke My client is a global IT Outsourcer that is keen to employ a Network Design Engineer to support the production of Impact Assessments, the production of network designs/network configurations and provide technical guidance to implementation engineers. This will be an opportunity that offers long term work within a fast expanding division and will be based onsite in Basingstoke.
