Investment Management client in London is now looking to hire an experienced Business Systems Analyst on a permanent. The Business Systems Analyst will be tasked with analysing the Business Intelligence and reporting requirements of the business. As well as building or managing the build of the required data processes, data warehousing, data marts & models, dashboards and reports. To be considered for this role you will need the following: * In depth knowledge and experience working with MS SQL Server databases, Store Procedures, SSIS and Analysis / Reporting Services, Tabular model, PowerBi and PowerQuery. * Demonstrable proficiency in shell scripting and programming. * Experience working within Asset, Wealth or Investments management (very desirable) * Knowledge of WhereScape Red (distinct advantage). * Knowledge of "Warehousing" and of .net applications. * Pro-active self-starter who has the ability to independently manage their work and works effectively in a team. * Commercially focused - understands the business needs with the ability to provide / develop the appropriate IT solutions. * Collaborative team player willing to share knowledge with colleagues. * Experience working in a high-volume production service environment. * Comfortable working in a constantly evolving environment. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex data and present ideas in business-friendly language. The JM Group is working with a global Electronics client who require a Business Analyst to join their team in Central London on a contract basis. The ideal Business Analyst will have the following skills and experience: * Must have a proven track record of working successfully as a Business or Technical Analyst on numerous multi-million pound projects, with the ability to engage and tailor communication to relevant audiences. * Must demonstrate a high level understanding of a range of business and consumer systems, including ERP and business intelligence solutions, integration and workflow tools and product information management and content management systems. * Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst using Agile in the work environment. * Demonstrated ability to shape unstructured ideas into work requirements and work packages. * Sound experience on high profile consumer facing websites, implementation of best in class user experience and technologies. * Understanding of project lifecycles and project management methodologies. * Understanding of CRM and Customer Journey concepts. * Excellent Communication and Listening skill - must demonstrate ability to communicate with influence and negotiate effectively with a wide range of business stakeholders with conflicting needs. * Ability to work across several initiatives at once, often at a high pace. * Able to work independently and manage personal workload. * CRM and e-Commerce experience a plus. * Adobe Experience Manager (specifically CQ5) experience is a plus. * Demonstrated knowledge and experience of formal modelling techniques such as BPMN and UML is a plus. * Experienced in developing user stories, prioritising and capturing acceptance criteria. * Experienced in supporting system, integration and UAT. * Experience of the software development lifecycle. * Strong analytical and problem solving skills. * Must demonstrate good planning and organising skills. * Experience in media/entertainment/manufacturing would be an advantage.
