Data Warehouse Manager - SQL - Chester (Inside IR35) We are currently seeking an experienced IT Data-warehouse Manager with strong SQL knowledge and experience for a contract position based in Chester. The main focus of this role will be to provide expert strategic and operational technical management and development of data systems and services ensuring the availability of high quality information, performance management and monitoring systems to support managers and clinicians at all levels of the organisation. The ideal candidate will have highly developed specialist knowledge of the following: * Data warehousing and business intelligence development * A clear understanding of data structures & data warehousing techniques. * Demonstrable and substantial experience of writing and using complex T-SQL and SQL code in a practical setting. * Appreciation of data protection and confidentiality issues. * Detailed working knowledge of SQL Server 2005 / 2008 including integration and analysis services. * Prior public sector experience is highly desirable but not essential. Our retained client is currently looking for an experienced web developer to realise content on both their mobile & web apps. You will have previously worked as a Front End Developer utlising HTML5, Javascript, Angular, Node.js & GIT (.Net is a 'nice to have). You will be part of a growing team that is looking to make e-Learning more innovative and exciting to use. The successful candidate will be responsible for: * Develop the front-end of our Content Management/Authoring System (CMS) * Work with content-authoring teams to design new templates for content in our app, and add them to both the CMS, and into the mobile apps. * Work with platform developers to guide development priorities for core functionality in the end-user native apps. * Get involved with development of front-end functionality in our mobile apps. * Do everything excellently.
