Dynamic fast growing software provider, developing industry leading booking systems, requires several new experienced C#.NET web developers for various roles in their large development team.
My client is a dynamic, fast growing company developing innovative software solutions delivered on a software as a service basis. Due to continued growth, they are looking for talented experienced .NET web developers who are highly self-motivated and have proven commercial experience in some or all of the following:
Microsoft .NET technologies including ASP.NET MVC (will consider up-skilling to MVC4/5 from older ASP.Net) C#.NET, T-SQL, HTMthey workL5, CSS 3.0, JavaScript, JQuery, JQueryUI, XMLXLST, Entity framework, NHibernate (or similar), WCF 4.0, WWF 4.0 (Workflow, State Machine, Workflow Rule Engine) or MEF 4.0.
In addition with tools and technologies such as Dot LESS, Knockout.js, Twitter, bootstrap, Unity, Auto Mapper - Object Mapping, XML, XSLT and use Windows Presentation Foundation - WPF 4.0, SignalR, Selenium & Rhino Mocks so any knowledge of any these will be beneficial.
We know this is quite a list but rest assured if you have good solid OO based C#, SQL and relatively up to date Web Development skills it's well worth applying! My client is particularly keen to hear from developers who are fluent in using design patterns to communicate solutions (at a senior grade) and offer access to plural site accounts and latest learning resources.
Desirable:
Understanding of web design standards and architecture
Exposure to Agile methods and processes - SCRUMs etc
Any MVC 4/5, JQuery, JQueryUI, CSS.0, WCF and/or WWF exposure
Continuous integration (CI)
Experience of global, transactional distributed computing systems.
Use of Mocks in a test driven environment.
Ideally you will able to demonstrate a good understanding of appropriate use of: Dependency Injection (Unity)/Inversion of Control, responsive design, performance optimisation, service testing & optimisation.
In this role you will join an established development team, playing a key role in delivering some very challenging and rewarding global solutions that are highly transactional to customers and will work alongside the Technical Architects, Database Architects, and Team Leads in designing, delivering, and maintaining core modules for systems.

Highly successful and high tech UK Plc requires and experienced Software Development Manager (people and processes focus) due to recent re-organisation.
In this role you will further build, manage and lead a software development team (currently 10 strong and mostly placed by Applause IT) as well as implement technical strategy including methodologies, technologies, standards and third party solutions. The role requires excellent people skills, staff development capability and vision for the department.
The Development Manager will work closely with other parts of the business to ensure systems meet business needs and will be able to provide on-going support and changes to the software.
Required skills and experience:
Previous experience as development manager or team leader:
Minimum of 5-6 years developing commercial applications or Minimum of 3-4 years managing a team of developers
Solid experience of working in and implementing an Agile environment
Proven experience of Snr level management and good commercial acumen
Strong background in Microsoft technologies including C#, .NET, SQL, ASP.NET, MVC
Familiarity with automated build tools such as TeamCity and GIT or similar
Knowledge of SOLID design principles
Project Management and experience working with Systems Analysts and Business Analysts
Negotiation with customers and suppliers, estimation etc.
Previous experience of any ERP, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain and/or Sales and Marketing type business systems, all advantageous
