Data Sourcing Manager - Data Sourcing Consultant - Big Data Sourcing Manager - Big Data Sourcing Manager is required by my leading West Sussex based client for an initial 6 month contract who has extensive experience around marketing and presales. This marketing/presales data Strategies will have big data and Business Intelligence. Main responsibilities & Duties * Working alongside the Data Team, the internal key stakeholders and external partners to define a medium to long-term Data strategy framework. * Educating the company sales teams in how to close deals within the data landscape and help to give them the tools to show the value of data. Essential skills * Strong understanding of current Data Market, players, competitive landscape ideally within the retail and travel/hospitality industry * Good understanding of the Big Data and Business Intelligence technology and platforms * Profiling, segmentation and propensity models for marketing activities using third party data * Understand data sources in our industry and the related market like (dunhumby) * Strong know on Data Pricing and licensing models and use to set up these values for negotiating purposes * Capable to define a Data strategy framework for the medium and long term * Presales and training capabilities * Stakeholders and external partners * Negotiation skills to be able to close deals with Data sources and partners * Sales/Marketing background My client are based in Crawley West Sussex and are looking to reward this Data Sourcing Manager a daily rate of up to £450 per day for this initial 6 month contract I must stress this is NOT an IT role but someone who expert in Profiling, segmentation and propensity models for Marketing activities using third party data and also who understands trends and can incorporate new sources of Data. They are looking for a contributor who can bring out the best in clients Data Services. The candidate should have Data Monetisation experience covering Data Valuation, Purchasing of Data from the right sources, and selling of data together with exchanging of data.
