BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE A 6-12 month temporary opportunity with the chance to extend into a rolling contract, working in a busy, fast-paced, and passionate environment, focusing on the food industry within the international events space! BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE ROLE: Identifying and targeting potential clients across the food manufacturing, processing, and ingredients industries through market research and data-driven lead generation Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline using cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach Developing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, distributors, and partners, representing the company at trade shows, expos, and industry networking events Collaborating with food innovation forums and industry associations to expand professional networks and enhance brand visibility Presenting and promoting company products and solutions, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing directly to company growth and profitability Preparing and delivering customised proposals, quotations, and contracts, negotiating favourable terms to secure new business and maintain client satisfaction Planning and executing event-based sales strategies, engaging attendees to generate leads, secure partnerships, and close on-site deals Working with marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand presentation and effective post-event engagement Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs to inform sales strategy and reporting Producing detailed performance reports and strategic recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and market positioning BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE ESSENTIALS: Demonstrating a minimum of 12 months proven experience in new business development within a target-driven environment Liaising effectively with high-level and high-value stakeholders to build and maintain strategic relationships Communicating with clarity and influence through strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills Showing passion for the future of food, nutrition, and health, with a commitment to innovation and sustainability Bringing previous experience in event coordination or participation within the food or related sectors If you feel that you fit the above criteria, then please apply today by submitting your CV to us.
