SITS Developer SME - 12 months+ - Remote Based - £550/£650 per day (Inside) We are seeking an experienced Tribal SITS Developer SME to join a leading UK University's Digital Change & Transformation Programme . This is a pivotal role, will involve both new supplier lead projects and cover BAU for student maintenance application support, so need broad versatility around various SITS areas (Fund Management being just one), good data and SITS Dev Tools knowledge You'll be taking part in the enhancement and optimisation of the University's student systems landscape, enabling improved digital experiences for students and staff. You will work closely with project teams, business analysts, support desk and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement robust SITS solutions that align with the University's digital transformation objectives and provide post live and existing BAU systems support. Key Responsibilities Develop, configure, and customise SITS (eVision, SRL, TASKing, Vistas, StuTalk etc.) to support new and existing business processes. Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable SITS solutions. Support data migration, integrations, and reporting activities as part of system enhancement projects. Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices within the SITS environment. Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation. Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer for ongoing support teams. To apply you should have the following skills and experience: 6+ years' hands-on experience as a SITS Developer or Consultant within a Higher Education environment. Full life cycle and versatility around various SITS areas (Fund Management being just one) Good Application Support experience and be customer centric StuTalk - Integration routes and messaging for data exchange Strong SITS Dev Tools knowledge: Tasks (eVision), Vistas, SRLs (Standard Reports & Letters), TUPs (Tables, Updates & Procedures) and XML. Stu-Talk - Integration routes and messaging tool for data exchange. Proven track record delivering change within large-scale SITS implementations or upgrades. Solid understanding of Tribal SITS architecture , data structures, and APIs. Experience with integrations (eg, student portals, finance, CRM, timetabling systems). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Desirable: Experience within university-wide digital transformation or modernisation programmes. Knowledge of cloud-based integrations and automation tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Remote based with very occasional on-site at university campus as and when required during the term. IR35 determination is 'Inside', therefore this will be ran via an Umbrella company. IBM Mainframe Infrastructure SME (CICS/Cobol/IBM Z Series) - London based (99% Remote) - Inside IR35 (No Umbrella fees - PAYE - £450/£600 per day) The Role: We are seeking an experienced IBM Mainframe Infrastructure Technical Specialist to support a major UK banking organisation operating on IBM Z Series and above infrastructure. This is a production stability and support SME role , focused on maintaining and optimising a complex Legacy Mainframe estate within a regulated banking environment. You will be working primarily across IBM CICS Transaction Server environments, ensuring continuous availability and performance of mission-critical banking systems. The successful candidate will be someone who can do more than just manage platforms, you'll need the ability to lead a team through complexity. You'll be leading a team (and sometimes 3rd party suppliers) responsible for running, supporting, and improving our clients platforms and infrastructure. That means balancing day-to-day stability with long-term improvement. You'll need to set a clear direction and get people aligned behind it - then make sure things get done. You'll report into Head of Software Delivery and work closely with Architecture and Software teams and play a key role in delivering change across systems that are central to the organisations purpose. To apply you should have the following background, skills and experience: 1.Strong people management - not only should you have experience of supervising/mentoring/deploying people, but you should have managed on a daily basis in terms of well-being, absence, 1-2-1's, performance, disciplinary, individual training, development plans, appraisals, etc. 2.Evidence of an understanding of Azure/DevOps - experience of deployment/configuration via pipelines. Release and deploy management alongside service monitoring and support of infrastructure & products. 3.Previous experience of managing a team of Azure Infrastructure Engineering and DBAs who are responsible for monitoring, alerting, and database management. You should have enough tech knowledge around infrastructure and database areas to manage the team of DBAs & Engineers. Further experience to be successful in this role but not necessary: IT Service Delivery and/or Support Management background Experience of service with internally produced software applications/products rather than large enterprise/corporate technology.
