Distinct Recruitment is seeking a Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst for a project-focused role in Nottingham. This hybrid position involves 2 days on-site work, supporting the finance team and enhancing reporting processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in detail-oriented tasks involving large data sets and will partner with diverse stakeholders. This fixed-term role offers a salary range of £46,000 to £52,000 and can be either full-time or 4 days per week.

Role: Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst Location: Hybrid working - 2 days on site Salary: £46,000 to £52,000 Contract: Fixed Term Contract until December Working Pattern: Full time or 4 days per week Distinct is supporting a national organisation to recruit an interim Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst on a fixed term basis. The opportunity is a project focused assignment where you will support the wider team while bringing fresh thinking to reporting, analysis, and processes. This position will suit someone who enjoys getting into the details, working with large and complex data sets, and partnering with stakeholders across both finance and non finance teams.

In this role you will maintain and support hardware and software packages across users in the business, providing problem diagnosis and resolution. The key focus of this position is to provide 1st and 2nd line support to internal users. Location - NG11 Duration - Temporary Ongoing Salary - £22k - £24k equivalent (hourly basis) Hours - 8am - 4pm OR 10am - 6pm (Mon to Fri) Provide 2nd line support of MS Office package Resolve incoming user IT queries remotely via email, phone calls and in person Liaise with 3rd parties to ensure incidents are resolved in OLAs Update and maintain system information Build new and reallocated laptops, desktops, and Android/Apple mobile phones About you Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally Knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft packages Interest in IT & Technology Ability to pick up new systems quickly and efficiently Working well under time constraints If this role sounds like something you'd love to be a part of - Apply now! This global company has sites across the UK and is the largest independent Distributer in its field. They are currently implementing MS Dynamics. The system has been integrated into locations overseas. The business has a focus on its UK implementation. With "go live" in a couple of months, while they have partnered with a consultancy to manage the technical aspects of this project, they would like to recruit someone with a background in finance, who can help them integrate the system in the UK. You can help develop the new system to support the needs of the business, offering training and support to the finance team. It will include necessary training and coaching. The ideal individual would have previously played a role in supporting the implementation of MS Dynamics. You will also have worked in finance.
