CAD Technician Swindon Salary between £30,000 - £35,000 Our client based in Swindon are looking for a CAD Technician to join their rapidly growing company! CAD Technician Roles and Responsibilities: Interpret architect's drawings Design tapered insulation systems to drain and insulate flat roofs Calculate U-values, condensation risk analysis and acoustic performance through to material take-offs Work closely with clients, the design team and project architects Manage compliance checks against the specifications and client requirements Attend design development meetings Undertake site visits to check progress On the job training will be provided for specialist design software used CAD Technician Ideal Candidate: AutoCAD proficient Competent in MS Office Experience within the construction / structural / civil engineering sectors An understanding of basic U-values The ability to read construction drawings Excellent communication skills Able to inspire confidence and develop long term relationships Has a 'Can do' attitude Good work ethic and aptitude for continuous learning and improvement Able to work under own initiative and meet deadlines Punctual, smart and hardworking CAD Technician Working Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 30 minutes lunch Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 28 years.
