About the role You'll be a vital part of our design teams, delivering exceptional user research activities, findings and reports that help us create useful, innovative digital services. Once you're part of our fast-paced, agile environment, you'll carry out a wide range of user research activities, from recruiting participants to designing processes and moderating sessions. You'll also collaborate with other teams to create key actions from your findings that can make a positive impact on our development projects, ultimately helping us work more efficiently and secure stronger outcomes for children and young people. Beyond development, you'll lead on analysing research data and help build a vibrant research community within Ofsted. Helping others to learn and develop is a key part of the role, as you'll mentor new team members. About you You'll be experienced in user research methods, analysing research data, planning research activities and communicating your findings. You'll be able to convince senior stakeholders of the benefits of a user-centred approach and engage sceptical colleagues. We also need positive, energetic candidates with good communication skills who can deliver at pace, develop others and constantly find ways to improve the way we work. You should have a degree or an equivalent qualification in Human Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, Market Research, Computer Science or another relevant field.
