Our client is looking for an ambitious individual to join their team who has a passion and desire to build a career in IT working predominately with databases and CRM systems. This is an opportunity to learn their business from the ground up. If you have a keen interest in IT but don't necessarily have all the required experience, this is a great role for you! Full training is provided with a view to become a Migration Technician. The Migration Technician role Participate in business projects Take ownership of all tasks allocated to you and deliver to specification Work with the team to ensure that all on-going data transformation, de-duplication, extraction, and load functions once ready for deployment are documented in detailed data lineage models Work with the team to assist with implementations, maintenance, and support Within Salesforce.com be proficient at the following: - o Importing, updating, deleting, and exporting records o Setting up fields and objects o Creating user groups and rights administration o Provide support and documentation for internal and client use Secure and professional transmission of client files adhering to our stringent data polices Attending daily workflow meetings, advise on timescales, limitations, or constraints as appropriate on jobs Deal with internal and client calls for queries on an operational level as required The ideal candidate will have Strong interest in all things IT Energetic, proactive, and enthusiastic approach An undoubted eye for detail Excellent communication, writing and creative problem-solving skills Ability to perform in a demanding business environment Good knowledge of Excel / Outlook and Word Knowledge of SQL would be an advantage Client Focus - be able to anticipate and understand client expectations, meet the requirements, and manage expectations
