Our client, a financial services company who are based in London are currently looking for a well-educated python developer to join their team. You will have gained at least 5+ years' experience with strong independent coding skills, coupled with good leadership qualities. You will come from either a financial services or investment management background. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Build programming skills in Python, .NET and JavaScript/Typescript, keeping pace with the business requirements. Building and maintaining client facing applications, working with stakeholders to ensure the key deliverables are developed and live on time. Working with Cloud and Kubernetes deployments to transition the client apps to a more scalable and maintainable infrastructure. Collaboration and communication with both the IT Team and IT stakeholders. Build out the Client Facing Apps such that they are tested, secure and reliable. Project management/people management role, possible future head of technology. This is a hybrid role and would want someone to come in to the office (Tue/Wed & Thursday). You will have gained a similar background and have knowledge of the retail and E-commerce which is essential. JOB PURPOSE: To deliver hands-on business analytics working directly with retail process owners and stakeholders, as well as project and technical managers to ensure alignment of technology solutions with strategic roadmaps.
