IT Support Technician, 1st / 2nd Line Helpdesk, £28k + bonus Monday to Friday - ***Car Essential due to location*** We are looking for a proactive experienced IT support technician with good excel skills to join a rapidly expanding and exciting company You will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running and manning of the Operations & IT Support Desk 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday, delivering 1st line support to a constantly fast-growing remote user base (approx 200) So as the IT Support Technician what will you be doing ? Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and other IT equipment Supporting users on both hardware and software applications Providing in person, telephone or online technical support across the company troublshooting, diagnosing and solving hardware and software issues Compiling patient result reports and sending out reports using excel on a daily basis Generating SMS messages through text messaging system or compiling Email messages, advising patients of their status to work Contacting laboritories, chasing outstanding results Administration of test result certificates Sending Patient Registration forms for electronic signature Providing ad-hoc specialist support for development projects So as the IT Support Technician what will you need to have ? Qualifications in IT would be preferable Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Office Admin Center is desired Experience with SQL is advantageous Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 Educated to GCSE/A level or equivalent Experience in a similar role with customer/IT support Strong administration skills Good IT knowledge, computer/tech skills Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software. Ability to change priorities quickly, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, fast growing business environment Although you will be based onsite at the Head Office in Windsor there may be a requirement to drive to other sites on occasion.
