What You'll Do As part of our Product team in Digital and Customer Services, you'll lead and support multidisciplinary teams to identify problems in services and products, and design and implement solutions through in house development and third party suppliers. Improve our social housing repairs journey Redesign our resident facing website from scratch Provide wrap around support for residents tackling poverty Help waste collection teams manage their work Employ AI and automation to improve council services Improve the journey for adult social care users You'll work closely with council service teams to understand their products, services and data. You'll translate users' pain points and stakeholder priorities into clearly defined problems to solve, analyse findings, and articulate recommendations, products and outcomes that deliver better services for residents and staff alike. You'll visualise service journeys, map current and future state processes, and use data to quantify problems and model impacts on residents and the council. You'll project benefits and rationale for investing in new processes or technology, helping teams prioritise the areas where they can have the greatest impact. You'll report to a Senior Business Analyst and play an active role in the Business Analysis Community of Practice, working closely with other disciplines to develop product practices and codify ways of working in our team. Who You Are You have experience leading work in multi disciplinary teams and taking responsibility for analysis throughout product and service transformation lifecycles. You are an analytical, user centred, data driven individual who eagerly uncovers root causes, documents and communicates issues, and sources appropriate solutions. You possess deep knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques, and use appropriate applications to synthesise information and evidence. You use analysis methods to develop actionable insights that spot opportunities for service improvement or product development. You ideally have demonstrable knowledge of modelling and measuring the financial and non financial impact of products, services and proposed changes throughout project lifecycles. You can monitor outcomes after delivery to enable teams to iterate and improve. You are passionate about developing your skills and supporting others in the team, and you are a supportive member of the Business Analysis Community of Practice.
