Employer: Aatom Recruitment Client: Local Authority Aatom Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced OCR Project Manager to work on behalf of a Local Authority as part of a major transformation programme. This role will lead the transition of all existing invoice and document-processing activities into a new SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba environment. Role Overview You will be responsible for delivering a controlled and effective migration from legacy OCR and document-processing systems into the Council's new SAP landscape. The role will focus on ensuring seamless system integration, improved controls, and the realisation of efficiencies across Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and wider service areas . This is a high-impact role requiring strong project leadership, hands-on ERP and OCR implementation experience, and the ability to coordinate multiple business and technical workstreams. The position operates on a hybrid basis , with regular on-site presence in central London to support delivery and stakeholder engagement. A key element of the role will be change management , ensuring successful adoption of new processes and systems across internal teams and external suppliers. Role Decommissioning Orchard MRI reimplementation project. The work will involve data extraction, transformation and loading between Live to Demo instances.
