Project Manager / Business Analyst - Income & Debt Improvement Programme Location: North West London / Hybrid Rate: 400- 500 per day (Umbrella) Duration: 3-month rolling contract A Local Council is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Business Analyst to support delivery of its Income & Debt Improvement Programme - a high-impact initiative spanning Adult Social Care, Housing Benefit Overpayments, Council Tax, Sundry Debt and expanding into Business Rates, Parking, and Legal Recovery. You'll provide hands-on project management and analytical support across multiple workstreams, ensuring action plans are delivered, performance is tracked, and risks and issues are effectively managed. Working closely with service teams, BI analysts and finance leadership, you'll play a key role in driving delivery and realising measurable benefits across all debt lines. Key Responsibilities: Manage delivery plans, RAID logs, action trackers and performance dashboards. Coordinate fortnightly programme boards and track actions and decisions. Analyse operational and financial data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities. Support development of business cases and benefits tracking. Produce clear, insightful reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders. Build strong cross-departmental relationships to support joined-up delivery. Ideal Profile: Proven experience in local government, finance or debt recovery programmes. Strong project management and business analysis skills. Confident managing multiple workstreams and deadlines. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
