The Role Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering first and second-line IT support across the business, acting as the first point of contact for technical issues while helping to maintain a secure, reliable and high-performing IT environment.Supporting both on-premise and cloud-based technologies, you'll work across Microsoft 365, Hybrid Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Windows Server and networking infrastructure, ensuring users receive a first-class support experience. Key Responsibilities• Provide first and second-line technical support to users across the business, both onsite and remotely.• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking and infrastructure issues.• Manage incidents and service requests through the IT Service Desk, ensuring excellent customer service and timely resolution.• Administer user accounts, permissions and security groups within Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).• Support Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.• Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, mobile devices and associated hardware.• Assist with the administration and maintenance of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.• Support networking infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and VPN connectivity.• Work alongside third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver IT projects and infrastructure improvements.• Maintain accurate technical documentation, asset registers and knowledge base articles.• Assist with user onboarding, IT inductions and ongoing security best practices.• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance the reliability, security and performance of the IT environment.About You We're looking for someone with at least 12 months' experience in an IT Support, Service Desk or IT Technician role who enjoys solving technical problems and providing an excellent customer experience.You'll have experience supporting Microsoft technologies and a solid understanding of desktop, infrastructure and networking fundamentals. You'll be proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities while communicating effectively with users across the business.
