The role: Cyber Delivery Assurance Principal You'll be part of the Cyber Delivery Assurance function within BA Digital, working closely with Digital Delivery leadership, Cyber teams and the IAG Cyber Security Office. This role plays a critical part in ensuring cyber security is embedded into product delivery across multiple domains, supporting safe, secure and resilient delivery aligned to BA's risk appetite. What you'll do: Provide assurance that product delivery and maintenance across assigned domains meet BA's cyber risk appetite and security requirements Lead a team of cyber delivery assurance leads, providing oversight, cyber requirements, advice and guidance to Digital Delivery teams Forecast and manage cyber resourcing across multiple domains, ensuring appropriate resourcing, cost alignment and consistency Work with business and delivery leadership to understand business objectives and embed cyber security into design and delivery Communicate effectively with, influence and advise senior stakeholders to promote understanding of cyber assurance Provide authoritative advice on the application and operation of cyber security controls, including regulatory and legislative requirements Undertake threat and risk assessments across varied technology stacks and identify appropriate mitigating controls Provide cyber leadership across assigned domains, driving forward solutions aligned with BA cyber strategy and assurance objectives Support embedding security by design and active risk management across all products within scope What you'll bring to British Airways: Demonstrated senior leadership capability with the ability to motivate, guide and develop high-performing teams Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and persuade at senior levels Ability to balance strategic intent with practical, pragmatic delivery Strong understanding of cyber security controls and risk management Confidence leading change and driving improvement in complex environments Ability to prioritise effectively and guide teams towards strategic business objectives Strong communication skills with a collaborative and outcome-focused approach Resilience and ability to thrive under pressure in fast-changing environments Your experience: Experience working at a broad range of seniority levels and leading high-performing teams Broad technical cyber security experience supported by relevant qualifications or certifications Strong knowledge of cyber frameworks, regulatory and legislative requirements Experience working in agile delivery environments Demonstrable experience in at least one cybersecurity domain such as cloud security, network security, digital security, infrastructure security, security architecture or security by design Experience working in regulated environments requiring interpretation and application of cyber requirements What we offer: We believe that all the people who work with us should feel valued for the part they play. The role: Cyber Delivery Assurance Analyst You'll be part of BA Digital, supporting the Cyber Delivery Assurance function to embed security by design across product delivery. This area plays a vital role in ensuring cyber security policies and standards are consistently applied across all releases and ongoing maintenance, helping to protect the airline and its customers. What you'll do: Collate and analyse data to support cyber delivery assurance assessments Assess whether product delivery and ongoing assurance activities meet BA's risk appetite Analyse evidence and responses to determine whether cyber security requirements have been met Identify areas of risk or improvement across product delivery Create dashboards and reporting to support decision making, communication and prioritisation Work closely with stakeholders, including third-party suppliers and delivery partners Assist product teams by interpreting and embedding cyber security policies, standards and guidelines Advise stakeholders on cyber risk management and reduction Support cyber awareness programmes and promote a security-by-design culture What you'll bring to British Airways: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to produce and manage high-quality documentation Confidence presenting data and insight to support decision making Clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills Pragmatic, outcome-focused approach Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment Inquisitive and curious mindset, keen to learn and understand new concepts Collaborative working style with the ability to influence and gain buy-in Your experience: Experience working in analytical, assurance, risk or cyber-related roles Demonstrable examples of initiative and structured analytical thinking Exposure to cyber security frameworks or standards such as ISO27001, NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR or NIS Understanding of agile ways of working is desirable Some cyber security experience in areas such as cloud, network, application, infrastructure, security by design or security architecture Experience working in regulated environments is beneficial What we offer: We believe that all the people who work with us should feel valued for the part they play.
