IT Data Cabling Project Manager My client is a leading provider of innovative IT solutions, specialising in data cabling and IT infrastructure services. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Data Cabling Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of IT data cabling projects. This role requires good leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a good understanding of data cabling and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Based near Langport, ideally looking for candidates within 1 hour drive Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and manage data cabling projects from inception to completion. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of data cabling systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track. Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders. Manage project documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring high performance and motivation. Developing relationships with existing and new clients Requirements: Experience in delivering Data Cabling Projects in the Enterprise market Experience in project management, preferably in data cabling or a related industry. Good knowledge of data cabling standards, protocols, and best practices. Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Building Management System (BMS) Engineer We are seeking an experienced Building Management System Engineer to join a technical team responsible for the operation, maintenance and development of facility control systems. The successful candidate will be experienced with BMS platforms and proven in configuring, commissioning and fault-finding on Trend and Tridium systems. Key responsibilities Install, configure and commission BMS controllers, field devices and associated networks. Program, modify and troubleshoot Trend and Tridium (Niagara) systems to meet building operational requirements. Perform preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and corrective repairs on BMS hardware and software. Monitor system performance, tune control strategies and implement energy-saving measures. Produce clear technical documentation, wiring diagrams, site reports and commissioning records. Provide on-site and remote support to building services and facilities teams, including planned works and emergency response. Collaborate with HVAC, electrical and maintenance teams during upgrades, refurbishments and new builds. Essential skills and experience Proven hands-on experience working with Building Management Systems. Practical experience configuring and programming Trend and Tridium (Niagara) BMS platforms. Strong fault-finding skills for controllers, I/O, networks and field devices. Understanding of HVAC plant, sensors, actuators, valves, pumps and control loops. Ability to produce technical documentation and clear commissioning/test reports. Full UK/EU driving licence (or equivalent) or ability to travel between sites as required. Qualifications Electrical, building services, control systems or similar technical qualification (HNC/HND, NVQ, apprenticeship or degree). Manufacturer or platform-specific training/certification in Trend and Tridium is highly desirable. Personal attributes Methodical, proactive and safety conscious with strong attention to detail. Good communicator able to work with multi-disciplinary teams and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable working independently and managing priorities across multiple sites.
