Our client has an opportunity for an IM International Service Lead to join them on a contract position for 12 months with potential for extension. You will act as the UK Service Lead for workplace and infrastructure services primarily for the Polish organisation to ensure supporting the provision of an effective working environment. Role: IM International Service Lead Location : Stevenage or Bristol or Bolton - 2 days onsite however needs to be flexible Hours : 37 per week Clearance Required : BPSS to start, full SC to follow Hourly Rate : Up to 60 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 Regular travel once per month to Poland is required for this role. What you'll be doing: To support the IM Overseas Service Manager to manage all planned and emerging service management activities within an International Footprint. To support ISP (procurement) team to ensure all activities related to hardware / software requirements definition, purchase and delivery to support the IM Poland development activities Create effective relationships with the key stake holders such that productive, collaborative, two-way communications are established Identify and where agreed implement service improvements achieving a more effective, agile and/or cost-efficient service Requests from overseas customers are raised and managed to completion within a timely manner and with a high level of customer service. Incidents are resolved within specified service level agreements Successful delivery of Service Improvement Plans Requirements: Effective communications and stakeholder management to the Poland team. Critical analysis and evaluation of IT requirements from Poland Managing the expectations and delivery of requested services to the Poland IM Team and customers. Essential Requirements/Skills/Experience Extensive experience in C++ development in a Linux environment. Proficiency in C# for tooling, test interfaces, or Windows components as needed. Proven experience working with real-time data systems, preferably involving SFPDP or other high-speed digital protocols. Demonstrable skills in multi-threaded and concurrent programming. Experience with low-level I/O, DMA, or driver-level interactions with PCIe cards or similar. Familiarity with software sequencing frameworks or custom state machines for test execution. Strong experience with integration, system test, and debugging complex interactions between software and hardware. Strong understanding of software design principles, memory management, and performance optimisation. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to APQP, CMII would be an asset Experience setting up the Configuration processes on new project highly desirable. Required qualification level Good standard of education, Degree, HNC, Diploma, NVQ Level 5 or higher. Oral & written English Language essential. The role requires SC and eligibility to handle ITAR. Desirable CM II or equivalent qualification desirable. European languages advantageous.
