Providing architectural leadership throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility through to implementation and operational handover. Defining network security approaches, standards and architectural roadmaps across a range of projects and environments. Understanding of secure network infrastructure within regulated or high assurance environments. Knowledge of network technologies, security controls, segmentation and secure connectivity principles. Appreciation of cloud adoption strategies and the challenges of integrating cloud services within secure environments. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience leading design reviews, governance discussions and technical decision making. R&D Test Systems Engineer Location: Bishops Cleeve, Gloucestershire Rate: 55 per hour (Umbrella) Contract: 3 Month Contract Industry: Aerospace / Advanced Engineering / Research & Development An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced R&D Test Systems Engineer to support the delivery of advanced engineering programmes. This short term contract will see you playing a key role in the build and commissioning of specialist test equipment used to validate complex electro mechanical systems. This is a hands on engineering role suited to someone with experience building and commissioning bespoke test rigs in an R&D or manufacturing environment. Security Engineer You will take ownership of through-life network security and infrastructure protection across critical satellite and telecommunications networks. This position gives you direct control over the design, implementation and long-term security posture of vital connectivity frameworks within the defence and national security sector.
