Eden Brown Synergy are working with a large Financial Services organisation based in Norwich City Centre who are looking for a number of experienced Deskside Support Technicians (2nd line) for 12 months. The role is full time, to start ASAP and paying £19.50 PAYE + holiday pay or £25.13 Umbrella per hour. The role is 5 days a week on site (no home working) Purpose of the Role Deskside is responsible for looking after day-to-day issues passed on from service desk that require further investigation to resolve. Deskside technicians are required to work onsite or offer remote support to 1000+ colleagues. You will work alongside other regional technicians and departments to offer the best possible service. Providing 2nd line support in a corporate environment Excellent customer facing skills and telephone manner Answers to queries and fulfil requests via phone, email and face to face in a timely manner. Supporting both on-site and field-based staff. Supporting project work. Duties & Responsibilities Management of stock Issuing of hardware and handover To answer queries, fulfil requests, fix incidents, and deliver changes via phone, email and face to face Providing on-site support Work with wider team to offer ideas to improve service/user experience Skills required Office 365 configuration and troubleshooting Windows 10 Azure/Intunes Active directory administration Ticketing system (Assyst/service now) Dell laptop and desktop warranty process Mobile device support and admin Incident Management Good Understanding of ITIL Proven trouble shooting skills. Experience required Working in a high-pressure customer service environment. Technical IT skills/knowledge/ background. Experience in multi-culture working. Working in IT in a financial services context. Content Designer - Manchester Eden Brown Synergy are working in partnership with a central government organisation based in Manchester. We are looking to recruit an experienced Content Designer to join the Communications department. They are responsible for providing national guidance and advice on promoting high quality health, public health and social care. They improve outcomes for people by producing evidence-based guidance and advice for health, public health and social care practitioners, developing quality standards and performance metrics for people providing and commissioning health, public health and social care services. This is an exciting time to join the Communications Directorate as they are in the process of developing a new Content Team with a focus on sharing content effectively across the organisation in particular with the Communications Directorate and HR Team. This will give you a chance to work across 2 different teams resulting in closer working between communications and HR to make both external and internal facing content more usable. Your new role as Content Designer: As the Content Designer you will be working as part of a busy, fun and creative team, you will be responsible for making sure that the HR content tells a vibrant, compelling and engaging story, using excellent writing, visual and content design skills you will help drive improvements across the HR content and contribute to their ambitions to make sure their HR content is as useful for staff as it can be. You will develop engaging content to improve the onboarding experience, redesign existing HR content and lead on the creation of written content for their internal channels. You will manage specific HR content projects form initial discussion through to evaluation, and proactively identity news stories that add benefit for staff and ensure they are kept engaged and informed on all matter's relation to HR. The Experience & Qualifications Required: To be consider for this role you will have significant experience of working in a content design role, relevant degree or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience and further development. For example, writing articles, creating and editing online material, maintaining websites and intranets, delivering internal communications projects or developing multimedia content. You will have specialist knowledge of content design, outstanding writing skills, knowledge of different content management systems and knowledge of applying GDPR principles. You will also have experience in using a variety of content management systems and third-party software to design content (e.g., Photoshop and Premier Pro). You will possess good creative skills, ability to synthesise complex information and present it clearly and precisely, both verbally and in writing. Significant experience of working in a relevant communication and/or content design field and a good understanding of how to create accessible digital content. Knowledge and understanding of the health and social care system, including an understanding of different audience's user needs.
