My client is an established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in Watford, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality civil infrastructure solutions across residential, commercial, and public sector projects. Their growing workload has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join the team. The Role You will be working on a variety of projects involving highway design, drainage systems, and infrastructure works , from initial concept through to detailed design and construction. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing designs, liaising with clients and local authorities, and supporting junior engineers. Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Leicester (Large New Build Project) Contract Type: Full-Time / Permanent Salary: Competitive + Benefits About the Role A leading M&E Engineering company, part of a large construction group , is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team on a major new build project based near Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and technical excellence across all project activities. As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems, conducting inspections and audits, and supporting our project delivery teams in achieving outstanding performance across all MEP installations. Key Responsibilities Support the project team in implementing and maintaining project-specific Quality Management Plans. Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and internal audits to ensure compliance with the companies and client standards. Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), material approvals, and quality documentation. Identify, record, and track non-conformances, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to resolve quality-related issues. Provide quality-focused input during installation, testing, and commissioning phases. Assist in preparing handover documentation and quality dossiers for client acceptance. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence across the project team. About You We re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with: Proven experience in quality assurance/control within the building services or MEP sector. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in large-scale construction projects. Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards. Strong communication and reporting skills. Relevant engineering or construction qualifications (HNC/HND or degree-level preferred). CSCS card and relevant safety qualifications (e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH) desirable.

Power Systems Engineer Solihull An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Power Systems Engineer to join a leading building services consultancy based in Solihull. This is a permanent, full-time role offering exposure to a wide range of innovative and technically challenging projects. The Role Provide specialist power systems input across a variety of projects. Develop technical reports, specifications, and designs. Liaise with DNOs and contractors throughout project execution. Carry out network design from Low Voltage up to 132kV. Undertake load flow, fault level, protection, harmonic and arc flash studies. Support generation schemes including wind, solar, and standby power. Conduct site surveys, inspections, and commissioning support. Key Requirements Degree in Power Systems Engineering (or related discipline). Proficiency with software such as ETAP, IPSA+, ERACS, Power Factory, or Amtech HV. Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to learning and development.
