Reporting directly to the CIO for our Issuer Services business, you will lead the delivery function and be responsible for turning technology strategy into business outcomes. Overseeing key technology value streams, you'll drive the successful execution of complex programmes and projects, ensuring robust governance, effective prioritization and consistently high-quality delivery. A role you will love As our Head of IT Delivery, you will provide direct leadership across our delivery function, leading value stream delivery leads, project managers and scrum masters. You'll set clear expectations, remove obstacles, strengthen delivery discipline and ensure teams remain focused on delivering against commitments and achieving measurable outcomes. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture and Operations leaders, you will align delivery priorities, manage dependencies and resolve cross-functional challenges. You'll also provide clear and transparent delivery updates to senior stakeholders, helping to drive informed decision making across the business. Other key responsibilities Lead the successful delivery of projects and programmes, maintaining oversight of scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions and expected business benefits. Ensure delivery plans are realistic, regularly reviewed and clearly communicated, with accountability for actions and timely escalation where required. Identify delivery risks, process inefficiencies and recurring challenges, implementing practical improvements to strengthen execution. Drive consistency across delivery teams through effective planning, reporting, governance, estimation and dependency management practices. Coach and support delivery leaders, helping them navigate delivery challenges, manage stakeholder expectations and build high performing teams. Maintain robust delivery governance standards, ensuring appropriate controls are in place across planning, reporting, risk management, release readiness and operational handover. Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders to ensure delivery priorities remain aligned with strategic objectives. What will you bring to the role? We are seeking an experienced technology delivery leader with a strong track record of leading large scale delivery functions across complex organisations. You'll bring deep expertise across value stream, project and agile delivery, with a clear understanding of how to turn strategy into successful delivery outcomes. As a senior leader, you'll have experience leading multiple teams or value streams, with accountability for delivery performance, governance and execution. You'll be comfortable working with senior stakeholders across both technology and the business, building strong relationships while providing challenge where needed to keep delivery on track. Some other key skills that you'll have Experience leading IT delivery teams within large, complex organisations, including delivery leads, project managers and scrum masters. Strong understanding of agile, project and hybrid delivery approaches, with the ability to apply governance in a pragmatic and proportionate way. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a focus on delivery outcomes, risk management and continuous improvement.
