Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team you will take ownership of electronics design decisions on commercially critical products. Key Responsibilities Component selection with consideration for cost, availability and reliability Schematic capture PCB layout oversight PCB design reviews Design and support production-ready PCBs Diagnostics and fault-finding of PCB-level issues Design and specification of production test jigs Establish and maintain DRC and design review processes Manage EMC, safety and regulatory approval processes Prototyping and bench testing Coordinate and oversee the manufacture of prototype and pre-production units Required Experience circa 5 years' experience in electronics or hardware development Strong practical debugging skills using oscilloscopes, multimeters and similar lab equipment Experience working with products intended for volume manufacture Able to balance hands-on technical work with manufacturing and compliance requirements Desirable experience PCB layout experience (Altium) Low-power or battery-operated system design RF design and testing Environmental or weather-resistant product design As a hands on electronics role it is based on site 5 days a week in Cambridge. We are looking for an experienced RPA Developer who has implemented RPA solutions using Power Automate. You will be responsible for setting up the function fuly, including identifying costings, savings, gaurd rails etc, and once implemented you will be expected to lead from the front and demonstrate the advantages and power of automating processes across the business. Code control and build processes are properly followed, minimising the risks to other projects and the business. Intra-Project dependencies are identified and proactively communicated to your line manager in advance. Business Testing and Implementation: Ensure test environments are properly configured and test instructions provided to business testers. Support the testing process by quick accurate, resolution of issues discovered and excellent communication to the business testers. Assist your line manager by promptly identifying issues that risk the project success. Assist with the provision of introductory training to users or other trainers.
