Salary: Paying £34.25 per hour PAYE (inside IR35) Data scientist role: Performing quantitative and qualitative analyses to aid the development of recommendations for clients Preparing, executing, and following up on client meetings and workshops Participating in the development of project methodology and innovation guidelines Conducting independent desk research to specific briefs using internal and external sources Creating, with support from senior colleagues, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables Assisting in the development of proposals for clients Supporting discrete initiatives around the client's broad RWE strategy and own M&A activities Developing your knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through on-the-job exposure and formal training. Your Background : BA/BSc with a strong academic track record in life sciences, economics, business or other related field 2 years of working experience in the life science industry and/or consulting Project management skills Good commercial awareness/business judgement and a passion for the healthcare/life sciences industry Proven analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills Strong ability to build long-lasting relations and credibility with external and internal contacts Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadline Strong commitment to rapid learning and skill development Company: Our client offers research services and technology solutions in the life sciences industry. CK Group are recruiting for a Software Support Coordinator, on behalf of a medical diagnostic company. This role will be based at their site in Gateshead, and is a permanent role with Mon-Fri day time working hours. The Role: The purpose of this role is to ensure all software and hardware used is designed, tested and implemented to the highest standards. The role involves customer installation, configuration and support with occasional travel throughout the UK. Responsibilities: Customer and distributor support, act as a forward-facing point of contact for customers and business partners. Software support, providing software and IT support to departments. Produce, maintain and curate training materials. Actively support the sales and marketing department. Deliver technical knowledge and practical skills in a forward-facing capacity. Installation and set up. Customer configuration. Actively support with complaints and technical support. Log, monitor, update and resolve complaints. Internal, customer and distributor support. Engage in continuous product development - continuous evaluation of all product lines. Your Background: HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent in computer science or computer related field. Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems. Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, WI-FI). Working knowledge of database setup and maintenance (Microsoft SQL / Access). Familiarity with MS Dynamics, MS Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud platforms. Understanding of LIMS set up and communication protocols. Experience in Cyber security essentials desirable but not essential.
