Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed. On behalf of Tesco Bank, AMS are now looking for a Solutions Architect for an initial contract length of 6 months. This is a hybrid role, with time split between remote working and the Edinburgh office (2 days a week). Purpose of the role: Tesco Bank are seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions. The role bridges business needs with technical execution, ensuring that systems are aligned with organizational goals, with a strong focus on digital transformation, core platforms, and seamless 3rd-party integrations. What you'll do: Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design end-to-end architectures across applications, data, and infrastructure. Lead integration of 3rd-party applications, APIs, and SaaS platforms into enterprise ecosystems. Define and optimize core platform architectures (ERP, CRM, eCommerce, data platforms, cloud-native systems). Drive digital initiatives including modernization, automation, and customer experience enhancements. Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and frameworks (eg, cloud services, integration technologies). Create architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation. Ensure solutions meet performance, security, compliance, and scalability standards. Guide development teams, providing technical leadership and best practices. Collaborate with project managers to align delivery timelines with architecture goals. Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact. The skills you'll need: Proven experience as a Solution Architect. Expertise in system integration, APIs, microservices, and 3rd-party connectors. Solid understanding of core enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, CMS, eCommerce, data warehouses). Experience in digital transformation projects (cloud migration, automation, omnichannel solutions). On behalf of Tesco IMS, AMS are now looking for x2 Controls Testing Analysts for remote working contracts on a short term basis ( 6-12 weeks ). Key responsibilities: As part of an ongoing separation of services the organisation is transitioning its technology estate and must ensure its internal technology controls are operating effectively and aligned to its own environment. This assignment focuses on the completion of IT control testing (non-key controls) across technology services. The work involves reviewing inherited controls, adapting them where needed, ensuring clear ownership, and validating their operating effectiveness. You will: Perform first-line technology assurance testing on non-key IT controls. Assess and validate inherited controls for relevance within the current environment. Test control design and operating effectiveness and document findings. Support control uplift activities (rewording, redesign, ownership clarification). Liaise with control owners to gather evidence, clarify responsibilities, and confirm suitability. Provide concise reporting of test results, risks, and remediation recommendations. Contribute to catalogue updates and assurance documentation. Meet deadlines to support completion by financial year end (end of February). Skills and Qualifications: Prior experience in technology control testing or IT assurance. Hands-on first line control testing (design & operating effectiveness). Ability to review, test, and document evidence concisely and objectively. Experience working within large financial services or regulated environments.
