The client has a suite of products used by clients all around the world and are currently working through a digital transformation programme that will see them redevelop their software into a cloud agnostic solution in addition to changing internal processes across the company. Role • Initial deployment into and liason with the customer to ensure all first phase fundamentals are established. • Working closely with the project team and support functions ensure we have the right facilities set up to professionally manage regional projects. • Hands on management and ownership of the project, driving the right leadership, behaviour and ultimately culture to deliver solutions that meet our customer demands and tolerances applied to the project. • Establishing project governance that enables the right stakeholders to make timely decisions about risks, issues and obstacles that require stakeholder intervention and could adversely impact project delivery. • Establishing project tolerances and managing the creation and delivery of project outputs within these tolerances (time, cost and quality) - including establishment of a regional team that over time will become self-sufficient to continue the delivery of the project. • Eliminating ambiguity around project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources and risk - both forecasting during up-front planning phases and then managing throughout the duration of the project. Establishing the correct sign offs for specification, budget, risk and timelines. • Owning, planning and monitoring the project, including the production of progress reports, board reports etc. against plan • Ensuring strong linkages with the deployable team to ensure quick hand over and management of tasks as needed. • Anticipating and managing project-level issues and risks with appropriate management /mitigation plans as required. • Direct liaison with multi-level management in our customers ensuring the right people have the right information and answers needed. • Directing and motivating the Project Team and keeping an active pulse on the general heath of the project. Person Candidates need to be highly experienced managers ideally with exposure to large scale government or public sector projects. An excellent awareness of project management methodologies and a qualification such as MSP would be ideal. You will need to be hands on and able to take a lead on larger projects, comfortable with customer facing work and engaging with senior level stakeholders. Experience establishing and managing project governance is important and will aid in the management of risks or issues as well as timescales for delivery. The role will come with salary of up to £62,000, car allowance (£4000) and a bonus of up to 15%.

The Role As part of a small team, you will be supporting and improving business processes with systems such as the ERP and Warehouse Management System as well as support projects across these systems. In this broad and varied role, you will: Provide support to the business on incidents, problems and use of core business systems, with a primary focus on operational departments. Provide problem definition and root cause analysis to solve business issues with core business systems. Provide expertise on operational use of business systems to support business users and the IT development team in delivering changes. Undertake process and systems analysis to define and document requirements to feed into the change process. Provide testing and training support in the role of expert on the use of core business systems. Document known problems, workarounds and routine tasks to ensure entire support team has understanding and resources to provide support to the business.
