Network Engineer (Automation) We are looking for a hands-on Network Automation Engineer to join a network transformation and automation programme on an initial 6-month contract. This role is focused on the execution and delivery of network automation, working within established architectural designs, engineering standards and governance. You will work closely with Senior Engineers and the Lead TDA to implement repeatable, controlled and scalable automation across the network environment. Key Responsibilities Build, execute and support network automation workflows in line with approved designs and engineering standards. Support the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for network configuration and change. Apply and maintain approved automation templates, Ansible playbooks and configuration patterns. Troubleshoot issues across both traditional networking and network automation workflows. Work closely with Senior Engineers and the Lead TDA to ensure delivery remains aligned with agreed designs, standards and governance. Identify issues, technical improvements and opportunities to enhance automation tooling and delivery processes. What We're Looking For You will be a practical engineer who is comfortable working across both networking and automation. Network engineering and network configuration. Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform. Network automation and orchestration. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and practices. CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows. Cisco network environments, ideally including Cisco NDFC. NetBox for network source-of-truth/IPAM/DCIM use cases. ServiceNow or similar ITSM/change-management platforms. Automation templates, playbooks and reusable configuration patterns. Pre- and post-change validation and troubleshooting. Working within established technical architecture, engineering standards and governance.

Test Engineer 6 Month Contract Swindon / Hybrid We re looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join a major technology programme, providing hands-on test automation, network validation and service assurance across complex deployment and migration activities. 3 days per week onsite taking ownership of automated testing and validation throughout the change lifecycle, helping ensure deployments are secure, stable and ready to progress into production. Key responsibilities include: Designing, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts , integrated into CI/CD pipelines. Performing pre-change and post-change validation across deployment and migration activities Acting as a pipeline gatekeeper , ensuring deployments only progress when defined validation criteria are met Developing and maintaining pyATS-based validation suites to verify network state, configuration and behaviour Conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments ahead of go-live Supporting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across network, platform, performance and functional issues Producing structured test reports and evidence packs for audit, regulatory and change-governance requirements Working closely with automation, platform, network and security engineering teams to provide end-to-end service assurance Participating in migration windows and change bridges , providing live validation and monitoring during deployments Required Skills: This is a hands-on test engineering position, so we re particularly interested in candidates with strong experience across: Test automation and validation engineering pyATS and network validation/testing CI/CD pipelines and pipeline-integrated assurance Pre- and post-change testing ThousandEyes or similar service/performance monitoring platforms Network and platform troubleshooting / RCA Security testing, penetration testing and vulnerability assessment Testing within controlled, regulated or compliance-focused environments

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a large-scale supplier data clean-up. You ll play a key role in helping streamline and tidy up thousands of supplier records, making sure data is accurate, consistent, and ready for migration.
