Calling all Data Scientists: My client, one of the largest health and beauty retailers in the world are currently seeking a Data Scientist to join their London office. The Data Scientist will be responsible for translating the delivery of the company’s global group customer strategy. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be using customer’s data and insight through the evolving data landscape. Core competencies • Stakeholder management – clear communication across businesses and functions to management agreed expectations • Result-Orientated – focused on measurement and areas to improve results • Innovative – Recommend changes based on scientific understanding of customers • Insights and Impact – ability to apply insights to maximise impact and opportunities • Collaborative - Works collaboratively across businesses and functions to share best practice and specialist expertise within the CRM team, the BU, and out to Group • Expertise - Can demonstrate expertise in analytics and provide thought leadership in CRM and analytics. • Knowledge of direct marketing metrics and tools. • Minimum of 3 years of relevant marketing experience in customer insights analytics, segmentation or commercial analyst role • University graduate or equivalent with strong analytical skills. Background in Operations Research, Marketing Science, Economics, Quantitative Psychology, Applied Mathematics, and related quantitative fields. • Experience with data related tools - Analytics, Database and Data mining skills in either SAS, Oracle, or SQL - Advanced Excel skills (e.g. v-lookups, pivot tables, VB macro scripting) • Retail Analytics. Strong Retail / FMCG experience at an International level • Experience of working with a high volume of SKU level transactional and customer data across multiple databases • Experience in loyalty, direct marketing, and marketing analytics • Strong presentation skills and experience in generating and sharing meaningful customer insights across business categories and multiple stakeholders (up to director level) to drive business decisions and trading plans • Expert in managing multiple stakeholders and driving action from insights shared • Evidence of mentoring of other analysts and line-management • Multilingual. Ability to discuss business topics on CRM analytics, ideally native French speaker • Excellent project management and time management skills. Ability to multi-task and keep calm under pressure. My client are a well-recognised organisation who are about to begin work on the largest Hybris project in Europe. Currently, they have an exciting opening for a Hybris Architect/Tech Lead to join them. Ultimately, the Hybris Architect/Technical Lead role is responsible for ensuring the Solution Architecture principles are adopted as part of the hybris platform implementation, realising the benefits of software and application architecture in order to meet the business needs. The Architect will have technical expertise in hybris technologies, with expert knowledge in Hybris development. You will work with the Delivery Teams and Enterprise Architects to implement the platform technical roadmap. Duties: + Provide technical expertise to development teams around Hybris development design and implementation + Govern non-functional requirements for systems ensuring that all delivery teams meet set standards + Work with other Technical Leads and Architects to ensure application design principles are adhered to + Work with Enterprise Architecture team to input to the strategic technical roadmaps for system and business capabilities + Stay up to date with emerging technology trends + Present technical solutions where required + Review, Assess and Approve requests that deviate from the published technical strategies, policies and standards + Ensure solution design is kept up to date Skills: + Significant Hybris development skills at Technical Lead level + Proven in high volume scalable systems associated to the technical domain + Skilled in delivering high quality technical solutions in line with business needs and timescales + Understanding of software best practices, design principles and patterns + Able to explain complex technical information in business terms + Good understanding of coding best practices for security and performance + Deep knowledge of Hybris technologies including Hybris accelerators + Strong in java / J2EE technologies + Exposure to Spring frameworks
