A major rail organisation is currently recruiting a Project manager for an important technology upgrade project. This is a 4 month contract, based out of Milton Keynes.
Duties will include managing project teams (including external System Integrators), to ensure deliverables are attained to time, cost and quality, ensuring governance is adhered to. The project manager will also be stakeholder managing throughout the organisation to ensure critical upgrades to bring some critical systems back into support.
Successful candidate will have significant large IT project management experience, either application development or infrastructure. Experience of managing third party suppliers would be required, knowledge of software engineering life cycles, experience of project planning tools and critical path management, ability to manage commercial and contractual issues and ability to drive increased value from suppliers. Formal project management qualifications such as MSP, APMP, Agile or Prince2 would also be required.

We have a great opportunity for a technology savvy Business Analyst to work on a business transformation/benefits project for a major rail organisation, based in Milton Keynes. This is an initial 4 month contract.
Duties will include collating and analysing Business Information identifying benefits, working alongside external and internal resources, developing business cases for change initiatives, focusing on people, processes, information and technology, rather than a pure technology focus. the BA will also be working with a team on a blueprint to identify overall project objectives. The BA will also be engaging with stakeholders, compiling information, plus other project focused duties.
Successful candidate will have demonstrable Business Analysis experience in a challenging Business Transformation project in a technology environment, as well as business process and data modelling experience, excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, the ability to think holistically rather than technology focus, with experience of IT consultancy approaches, tolls and methods. An ISEB diploma would be desirable, as well as prior knowledge of the railway industry, but not essential.
