Role Purpose The purpose of the Digital Forensic Laboratory Technician is to assist in ensuring an efficient and effective running of the digital forensics laboratory by receipting and dispatching exhibits, completing case management records, maintaining equipment and assets and adhering to lab procedures. Key Responsibilities & Personal Development Key Responsibilities Exhibit receipt and dispatch Archiving of completed case investigation data Stock control, tracking and resourcing Provide cover for logistics and courier services Assist with the quality assurance procedure for operational casework Sustaining an effective and efficient working environment Weekly preparation/maintenance of the laboratory environment Maintenance, testing and calibration of a wide range of digital forensic equipment Participate in external audits from certification and accreditation bodies Contribute to achieving and maintaining quality standards whilst ensuring that the company's quality procedures ISO 17025 and 9001 are robustly adhered to.
