Senior Infrastructure & Microsoft 365 Engineer/Active Directory/Exchange - Hybrid Location: East Midlands (Hybrid) Type: Permanent | Full Time Salary: Competitive + Benefits We're looking for an experienced IT infrastructure professional to join a growing organisation as a Senior Lead - IT Systems Administration. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for the performance, security and continuous improvement of the organisation's infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment, cloud services, end-user devices and business-critical systems. Acting as a senior escalation point, you'll lead on complex technical issues while driving automation, standardisation and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage Windows, macOS and mobile devices through Intune, Autopilot and Microsoft 365. Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Entra ID. Support Windows, Linux and Azure infrastructure, including Active Directory, Hyper-V, DNS and networking. Maintain security controls including MFA, Conditional Access, Defender and vulnerability remediation. Manage backup, recovery and business continuity processes. Lead technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and service improvement initiatives. Develop automation and Scripting solutions using PowerShell and Microsoft technologies. Maintain asset management, licensing and technical documentation. Skills & Experience Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Online and Intune. Experience supporting infrastructure, networks, endpoint management and cloud services. Knowledge of cyber security best practices, patch management and compliance frameworks. Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam or Acronis. Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills. PowerShell Scripting and automation experience desirable.
