The role Responsible for maximising revenue and customer retention through: Upgrades and modernisation projects Spare parts sales Service and maintenance contracts The successful candidate will play a key role in developing long-term client relationships, improving asset performance for customers, and positioning the business as a trusted lifecycle partner for combustion equipment and plant. Key Responsibilities Aftermarket Sales & Revenue Growth Develop and execute the after sales strategy across upgrades, retrofits, spares, and service agreements Upgrades & Modernisation Identify opportunities to upgrade: Burners, controls and combustion systems Develop technically and commercially robust upgrade proposals in collaboration with engineering teams Service Contracts & Lifecycle Management Develop, sell, and manage service level agreements (SLAs) and planned maintenance contracts Work closely with service delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and performance Spares & Parts Sales Drive growth in spares and consumables revenue Critical spares holding recommendations Obsolescence management Customer Relationship Management Build strong, long-term relationships with: Plant managers Maintenance and engineering teams Procurement and asset owners CRM & Reporting Maintain accurate records of: Opportunities, Contracts & Installed Base Data Pipeline, forecast & performance reporting Candidate Profile Experience Previous or related experience in aftermarket / service sales within: Combustion systems Boilers, burners, or thermal plant Industrial heating or process equipment Demonstrated success in selling: Service contracts / maintenance agreements Upgrades / retrofits / modernisation projects Spare parts and lifecycle solutions Skills & Attributes Strong commercial acumen with a focus on recurring revenue Ability to identify and develop lifecycle revenue opportunities Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills Confident communicator capable of engaging at all organisational levels Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented Strong proposal development and negotiation capability Qualifications Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) advantageous but not essential Relevant industry certifications advantageous Full UK driving licence Willingness to travel regionally and nationally What We Offer Competitive base salary Performance-related bonus scheme Company car / car allowance / salary sacrific scheme Pension and benefits package Opportunity to shape and grow a critical revenue stream Career progression within an established global business
