Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding requests, including user account setup, and handle server access and permissions requests via the service desk. 5. Backup & Disaster Recovery a. Work with the existing team to support backup and disaster recovery solutions protecting critical systems and data.b. Assist with backup monitoring, testing, and recovery activities to ensure business continuity.c. Maintain backup and recovery documentation and procedures. 6. Documentation & Continuous Improvement a. Maintain and update technical documentation, runbooks, and support procedures for server and cloud platforms.b. Qualifications & Experience Degree or similar qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 3+ years' experience in an IT infrastructure, systems administration, or operations support role. Proficiency in managing Windows server environments. Knowledge of Linux environments (such as RedHat) would be an advantage. Basic understanding of: Virtualisation technologies, Cloud computing concepts (IaaS / SaaS), Backup and restore principles. Ability to work methodically and follow defined operational processes. Exposure to Microsoft or other cloud platforms. Awareness of cybersecurity standards and good practices.
