As a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role within our Infrastructure Team, supporting customers on their journey to refactor, replatform and rehost mission critical systems into AWS. You will enable transformation through Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices, improving system reliability, reducing cost and enhancing agility. You'll work with a wide range of technologies and environments, supporting national security missions and contributing to cutting edge cloud engineering at scale. Administer Linux and Windows based environments. Maintain and troubleshoot IP networking across cloud and hybrid systems. Automate deployment, operation and maintenance tasks using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools. Continuously expand your own skills, maintaining and enhancing relevant certifications. Candidate Requirements Essential: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience. Essential: AWS certification at Practitioner or Associate level, with experience designing and deploying cloud solutions. Essential: Experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems in large corporate environments. Essential: Strong understanding of IPv4 networking, including subnetting and routing. Essential: Experience automating tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or Python. Preferred: Experience working across high classification systems or in national security environments. Preferred: Exposure to DevSecOps practices and Infrastructure as Code tooling. Security Clearance Due to the nature of this role, you must be a UK national. You must be able to obtain and maintain the highest level of UK Government security clearance.
