Quality Analyst / Tester - Remote Nucleus is looking for a Quality Analyst to support Third Financial. The role is to support the products within a traditional software team. Key Responsibilities Work closely with developers to ensure the product quality. Manual Testing - Conduct manual test suites against software products. Test Planning - Write own test plans documenting the purpose and approach of the testing to be carried out. Test Script Creation - Write own test cases and test scripts for regression suites and functional development suites. Conduct Static Testing - Conduct static testing in the form of spec reviews. Engage in requirement review and solution design meetings in order to offer QA understanding of usability and testability. Bug logging and Tracking - Taking ownership of the defects to ensure they are adequately resolved. Conduct Exploratory testing. Taking responsibility for the accountability of QA tasks and reporting on progress. Reviewing Playwright test cases for coverage and acceptance criteria. Work with web based testing tools for cross platform testing. Key Attributes and Skills Good understanding of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) Good understanding of Development Methodologies. Planning and own task management. Good written and spoken communication skills. Good attention to detail. User Interface knowledge to assess UI changes against confirmed standards. Problem Solving Skills. Experience with SQL and basic query language is a benefit but not a must. Experience with Playwright test automation tooling.
