Position Summary: The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements, creating comprehensive system design specifications for new systems or enhancements. The role conducts system audits, utilizes advanced analytics to identify opportunities for enhancing scalability and efficiency within the IT infrastructure. They evaluate emerging technologies, providing recommendations for adoption to elevate the organization's technological capabilities, and lead the development of disaster recovery plans and backup strategies for critical systems and data.# Location: London - UK - Fenchurch Essential Functions: Business unit and I.T. team facilitation and coordination. Author requirements and specifications documents for insurance software projects. Specify, document, and test additions and modifications to the system. Troubleshoot application errors and user issues. In conjunction with users, isolate problems, determine solutions or alternatives, and develop and implement a resolution. Creates or modifies complex Excel spreadsheets and Word documents incorporated into the agency management system. Ensures the integrity of the system at all times including data integrity when developing, maintaining or enhancing setups and reports. + Author test plans and scripts and coordinate user acceptance testing. + Author project status reports. + Communicate requirements and specifications to offshore development staff. + Liaison to offshore development team. + Collaborates with resources across the organization to pursue continual process optimization and innovation. + Collaborate with senior technicians on technical designs and PMO on project scheduling. + Authoring simple SQL and reading complex SQL. + Special projects to be assigned as required. Education/Experience/Skills: Demonstrable experience in a P&C, specialty, or MGA/MGU insurance industries. Experience in authoring transactional system requirements and specifications. Experience testing and configuring MGA/MGU management systems a plus. Knowledge of the insurance carrier or MGA/MGU sales and operations workflows. Strong communication and meeting facilitation skills that drive decision making. Test plan and test case/script authoring and execution. Structured Query Language (SQL). Visio: flow charts, activity diagrams. Project management skills a plus. Ability to manage business and technology team members. Wire-framing. Position Summary: We are seeking a detail oriented, collaborative Lead Business Analyst to oversee Insurity C1/SureMGA solution delivery under the CoE. This role will act as the primary liaison between the product owner team, business stakeholders, and configuration development teams-ensuring that C1/SureMGA solutions align with business objectives and are configured to support operational needs effectively. The Lead Business Analyst will report to the Director of the CoE Functional Team.# Location: London - UK - Fenchurch Key Responsibilities: Understand and document the business objectives of each project, identifying the system requirements to meet those needs. Analyse current business systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, or optimization. Elicit, analyse, and validate business requirements from stakeholders, including internal teams and external users. Skilled at converting business requirements into solution designs and well defined configuration user stories. Collaborate with product owners, project managers, and sponsors to define project scope, vision, and deliverables. Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and continuous process improvement. Develop and execute test plans to ensure vendor software configurations meet business and functional requirements. Provide end-user training and support; create user manuals and documentation as needed. Document detailed business requirements, define scope and objectives, and align system functionality with strategic goals. Qualifications: Demonstrable experience in Business Systems Analysis, IT Infrastructure, or a related field (preferred). Experience working in the non-admitted wholesale insurance space, with familiarity in software solutions that support this domain. Hands-on experience with configurable vendor policy administration systems; experience with C1 or Insurity products is strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (preferred). Equivalent professional experience will also be considered. Technical & Functional Skills: Strong understanding of Data Analytics and IT Infrastructure. Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
