As an IT Infrastructure Technician, you'll be part of a pan European team looking after service delivery of ITS Infrastructure Services within EMEA to the business. You'll be part of a team which is a geographical cluster within the 2nd line support group.You'll be providing IT Infrastructure services at 2nd level support in a multi-site Windows Server, Cisco network and IP Telephony environment. Support will be provided throughout EMEA using remote tools. This will be achieved via a helpdesk system with all tasks controlled through a ticketing system with performance measured against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA's). Additional key responsibilities of an IT Infrastructure Technician include: Provision of local network & desktop support & development. Provision of local servers and their services as agreed in SLA. Participating in Infrastructure projects as well as providing Infrastructure Support to Project Managers within other ITS projects. Project support. Local asset management. Interaction with local service providers. May be involved in selected specialised roles. May be involved in on-call out-of-hours rotas. Specific Skills / Experience: Broad Technical expertise including Microsoft technologies and networking. Previous IT support experience required Flexible in approach Supportive team member Disciplined Diplomacy Able to work under pressure Good interpersonal and customer care skills Desktop expertise Server experience LAN expertise Request Handling capabilities Resolution Management skills Excellent written and spoken English Effective communicator Compliancy with policies & procedures Customer facing skills# Think outside the box with us!
